Privacy policy

This policy explains how we handle your personal data when you visit www.asse-lab.com or buy our products. It is written to meet the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, and the EU GDPR where it applies.

1. Who we are

AtlasForge LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, trading as Asse Lab. We are the controller of your personal data. Privacy contact: assistenza@asselab.it.

2. What we collect

  • Order data: your name, email address, billing address and country (also needed to apply the correct VAT), the products you buy and the amounts paid.
  • Payment data: handled directly by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Messages: anything you send us by email or through the contact form.
  • Browsing data: IP address, device, browser and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 6).
  • Newsletter: your email address, only if you sign up.

3. Why we use it and our lawful basis

  • To process your order, deliver your download, help you and handle refunds: performance of a contract.
  • To keep tax and accounting records, including VAT: legal obligation.
  • To keep the website secure and prevent fraud: legitimate interests.
  • For newsletters, non-essential analytics and personalised advertising (for example Meta): consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run the shop: Shopify (e-commerce platform and hosting), the payment providers shown at checkout, our email services and, only with your consent, Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and Google for measurement and advertising. We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

We are based in the United States and some providers process data outside the UK and the European Economic Area. Transfers rely on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider participates, or on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the website and the cart to work. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner, where you can also decline or change your choice at any time.

7. How long we keep it

  • Order and billing records: 6 years, for tax purposes.
  • Customer support messages: up to 24 months after our last contact.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Cookies: for the period shown in the cookie banner.

8. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time, by writing to assistenza@asselab.it. We reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or to the data protection authority in your country.

9. Children

Our website and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
